This document has surprisingly been recorded non stop (except from a short break in the middle of Winterreise's Cycle) at the Conservatoire Rachmaninoff, Paris, Salle Rachmaninoff, on the 6th of May 1999, the music classes being in full activity (listen to the flute solo at the end of Der Leiermann ...), and has been selected between several recordings for the rare quality of timbre of the interpreter, Monsegur Vaillant, soprano and concert pianist, in a perfect osmosis between piano and voice with an alluring, provocating and fascinating tempo.
